The archetype of the table interpreted through a geometrical process on the legs. The ‘traditional’ leg, a wooden squared element, is (re)shaped thanks to a material reduction. Two parts are removed along two parallel and inclined cutting plans starting from the diagonals of the bases to two-thirds of leg’s height. Bases are so reduced to triangles. Legs appear slim and robust at the same time and they are strongly characterized, on the inner and on the outer corner, by a stretched inclined triangle.
The result wants to be a delicate and elegant interpretation of the archetype of the table which is revealed trough a very contemporary identity.
